Parenting Class
Is the best title for your parenting style "Winging It?" Learn effective discipline for children ages 2-12 and get advice from your peers in a group parenting class. Meets every Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
Child and Teen Life Skills Group
Your child will learn vital life skills to improve self-esteem, positive attitude, and how to express emotion positively. Course consists of six one-hour classes which meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Time varies depending on age of child. Note: The class is not meant to replace or be therapy. It is purely psycho-educational. If you feel that your child may need more intensive care (therapy) then a consultation may be scheduled.
Anger Management
Learn to identify triggers behind anger, effective strategies in expressing anger, positive ways to handle conflict, and so much more! lasses meet for 8 weeks every Thursday from 6-7pm. Note: In most cases this class meets court or employee mandates for anger management.
Grief Support Group
If you're struggling to overcome the pain associated with loss (divorce, death, moving, etc..) then get support and take steps that will help lead to recovery. Classes meet for 8 weeks every Wednesday from 6-8pm.
Marriage Enrichment
In this one hour seminar you will learn what goes wrong in marriages and how you and your spouse can begin to reverse negative patterns of interacting and communicating into understanding, connection, and bonding. This seminar draws information from Dr. Sue Johnson who is the originator of Emotionally Focused Therapy and author of 'Hold Me Tight.' Please note that this class is not meant to be a substitute for therapy. It is simply an introduction in the concepts and practice of EFT. Classes are held on an as needed basis.
